A new internship program for undergraduate students is providing research and learning experiences for ethnic groups who are typically underrepresented in the environmental health sciences. The program is a joint effort between the Maternal and Developmental Risks from Environmental and Social Stressors (MADRES) Center at the University of Southern California (USC) and California State University, Los Angeles (CalStateLA) to increase diversity in the environmental health workforce.
