Social and Environmental Exposures and the Developmental Origins of Health Disparities Closing Date

Call for abstracts: Abstracts relevant to the general theme of the conference are welcome, as are abstracts in these emphasis areas:

  • How do social and environmental exposures occurring during critical periods of development (e.g., pre-conception, prenatal, early life) jointly influence health disparities over the life course?
  • What are the methodological challenges in socio-environmental health disparities research, and what are some novel solutions?
  • Emerging work focused on the health effects of joint social and environmental exposures

Abstracts from researchers for podium, poster and “Flash-talks” (3-minute) presentations are welcomed. Students and trainees are also strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations. MADRES CLINIC

The MADRES Clinic is located on USC’s Soto Campus, which is just a few minutes away from Keck School of Medicine of USC.  At the MADRES Clinic, participants are seen for in-person visits, including survey administration, biospecimens collections and height and weight measurements.  Additional services include imaging, as well as pulmonary function testing.
